Time and tide

Teignmouth is a small port town, that unlike it’s neighbour Dawlish, has a beach right where any self-respecting town would build their railway. The town mostly exports mud, gravel and grain, though usually not in the same ships, much to the joy of everyone. As well as a port, set around a rather cute Georgian old quarter, it is also a typical 19th century Victorian beach resort, still clinging on to it’s wonderfully named Grand Pier, and with some really rather nice bakeries.
